Japanese potter from Kyoto. Born 1949.
After graduating from pottery school in his native Kyoto, Oishi refined his skills at the studio of Tokusen Nishimura. His works have been showcased at the Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition (both the national and prefectural level), and have earned him much praise.
Oishi's masterpiece is "Tetsuyu Kusabana Hachi."
