A Japanese silk satin damask. It has a shiny surface and is smooth to the touch.
[Hikizuri]
Hikizuri is a style of Kimono that has long train. Hashori, (edge bend) is not made when you wear Hikizuri, and the edge of Kimono will spread on the floor. ( “Hikizuri” means dragging tail.)
Hikizuri is used as Kimono of Maiko/Geisha, Furisode/ Uchikake as bridal costume for a bride, and costume of high-class woman in historical drama/movie/play.
