[Sunkaku Zi (지순탁)](1912-1993)
A korean pottery. His pottery name was Touan.
He opened his pottery studio in Ichon (where is famous for pottery and hot spring) Korea in 1912.
He was recognized as the holder of cultural assets of Korea and received Order of Culture.
Influenced Japanese fork art movement triggered by Muneyoshi Yanagi (Japanese thinker, religious philosopher, and art scholar), he revived Korean pottery.

Decorative technique for ceramics.
Kaolin (white clay) is painted over with a brush, leaving brush marks ("hake-me" in Japanese) on the surface of the item. A transparent glaze is then applied.
